01

The Trinity

One God in three persons. The Father elects, the Son redeems, the Spirit applies. The foundation of salvation itself.

1 John 5:7 · Matt 28:19 · 2 Cor 13:14 Theology Proper
02

The Divine Decrees

God's eternal, holy, wise, and free purpose — whereby He foreordains whatsoever comes to pass. From predestination to providence.

Eph 1:11 · Isa 46:9-10 · Acts 2:23 God's Sovereignty
03

Covenant Theology

One plan, one people, one Mediator. From the pactum salutis to the new covenant, the covenants are the backbone of redemptive history.

Heb 13:20 · Gen 3:15 · Jer 31:31-34 Redemptive History
04

Who Is This God?

Before you can understand grace, you must understand the God behind it. His nature is why salvation works the way it does.

Exod 3:14 · Isa 46:9-10 · Ps 115:3 The Nature of God
05

Why Scripture Gets the Final Word

If Scripture isn't authoritative, nothing else matters. If it is, everything changes. Here's why it is.

2 Tim 3:16-17 · 2 Pet 1:20-21 · Ps 19:7 Scripture & Authority
06

Where Does Truth Come From?

Before you can answer anything about God, answer this: Where does truth come from? The answer is the foundation.

2 Tim 3:16 · 2 Pet 1:21 · Ps 19:7-11 Scripture & Revelation

Soteriology — The Truth of Salvation

07

Divine Election

God chose His people before the creation of the world — not based on foreseen faith, but according to His sovereign will and grace alone.

Eph 1:4-5 · Rom 9:11 · 2 Tim 1:9 The Truth of Grace
07b

Reprobation — The Doctrine We Own, Not Duck

The shadow side of unconditional election — without which the whole architecture collapses into Arminianism. Owned pastorally with Romans 9:22, 1 Peter 2:8, Jude 4, and the asymmetry that keeps mercy mercy.

Rom 9:22 · 1 Pet 2:8 · Jude 4 · Prov 16:4 The Truth of Grace
08

The Atonement

Definite redemption. What did Christ's death actually accomplish? The logic of substitution, propitiation, and definite atonement.

John 17:9 · Isa 53:10 · Eph 5:25-27 Christ's Work
09

Every Step of Salvation — Every Step His

From election to glorification, every link in the golden chain. Foreknown, predestined, called, justified, glorified — unbreakable.

Rom 8:29-30 · Eph 1:3-14 · Titus 3:5 Order of Salvation
10

Born Again — Before You Could Believe

You didn't choose to be born the first time. The second birth works the same way. God makes you alive before you can believe.

John 3:3-8 · Ezek 36:26-27 · 1 Pet 1:23 God's Work in Salvation
11

The Glory of Christ

Jesus is not a good teacher who offers suggestions. He is God in flesh who accomplishes salvation. Get this wrong and everything collapses.

Col 1:15-20 · Heb 1:1-3 · John 10:11 Christ's Person & Work
12

The Spirit Who Does What You Cannot

The work of the Holy Spirit. Regeneration, illumination, indwelling, sealing, sanctification. The Spirit applies what the Son accomplished.

John 3:5-8 · Ezek 36:26-27 · Eph 1:13-14 The Holy Spirit
13

Hamartiology

The truth of sin. Original sin, total depravity, the fall of Adam, imputation. Why salvation must be entirely of grace.

Rom 5:12 · Gen 6:5 · Eph 2:1-3 Sin & Depravity
14

Justification by Faith Alone

How God declares sinners righteous through the imputed righteousness of Christ — not infused, not earned, not mixed with works. Sola Fide.

Rom 3:28 · Rom 5:1 · Gal 2:16 Justification
15

The Truth of Salvation

A comprehensive gateway to soteriology. Election, regeneration, atonement, justification, perseverance — the entire framework unified.

Rom 10:9 · Titus 3:4-7 · 2 Tim 1:9 Soteriology Overview

Theology & Philosophy — Hard Questions, Biblical Answers

16

Compatibilism

Sovereignty and responsibility. Scripture never asks you to choose between God's absolute sovereignty and genuine human responsibility. It affirms both.

Acts 2:23 · Gen 50:20 · Phil 2:12-13 Philosophy & Logic
17

The Resurrection

Christ's bodily resurrection is the foundation of all Christian hope and the culmination of redemptive history.

1 Cor 15:57 · Rom 6:9 · 1 Thess 4:14 Christ's Exaltation
18

Ecclesiology

The church and her mission. The visible and invisible church, the marks of the true church, the means of grace, and the mission of God's people.

Eph 5:25-27 · Matt 16:18 · 1 Tim 3:15 The Church
19

Anthropology

Human nature and the image of God. Made in God's image, fallen in Adam, restored in Christ. Dignity and depravity unified.

Gen 1:26-27 · Ps 8:3-6 · Rom 5:12-21 The Nature of Humanity
20

Soteriology

Salvation from election through glorification. Scripture's complete teaching on how God saves sinners and the monergistic grace that secures our redemption.

Eph 1:3-14 · Rom 8:29-30 · 2 Tim 1:9 The Doctrine of Salvation
21

The Five Points of Grace (TULIP)

The five truths Scripture teaches about how people get saved — explained from the Bible alone, with nowhere to hide. Read this and you will know what grace actually means.

Eph 2:1-9 · Rom 9:11-16 · John 6:37-44 The Doctrines of Grace
22

Effectual Calling

There are two calls. One goes out to everyone. One reaches the heart and cannot fail. The difference between hearing the gospel and coming to Christ is the sovereign summons of God.

Rom 8:30 · John 6:44 · 1 Cor 1:23-24 The Summons That Raises the Dead
23

Union with Christ

Paul says "in Christ" 164 times. It is not a phrase — it is the architecture of salvation. Every blessing you have, you have because you are in Him, and He is in you.

Eph 1:3-14 · John 15:5 · Rom 6:3-5 The Doctrine Undergirding Every Other
24

Adoption

The highest privilege the gospel confers. Not merely forgiven. Not merely declared righteous. Made sons and daughters of God Himself, with the Spirit crying "Abba, Father" within.

Eph 1:5 · Rom 8:15-17 · Gal 4:4-7 From Enemy to Heir
25

Imputation

The great exchange: your sin placed on Christ, His righteousness placed on you. Double imputation — active and passive obedience — is how a holy God can declare guilty sinners righteous without lying.

2 Cor 5:21 · Rom 4:3-8 · Rom 5:12-19 The Great Exchange
26

Sanctification

Three tenses: you have been sanctified, you are being sanctified, you will be sanctified. The work of grace that begins at conversion, continues for life, and is finished at glory. Not your striving — His.

1 Cor 6:11 · 2 Cor 3:18 · Phil 2:12-13 The Long Obedience
27

Glorification

The last link in Romans 8's golden chain — already spoken of in past tense because it cannot fail. Perfected soul, resurrected body, beatific vision. The face of God forever.

Rom 8:30 · 1 Cor 15:42-44 · 1 John 3:2 The End That Was Always the Beginning
28

Federal Headship

Two men. Two heads. Two destinies. Adam fell and you fell with him. Christ stood and His people stood with Him. The doctrine that explains why you sinned before you chose to — and why you were saved before you chose Him.

Rom 5:12-19 · 1 Cor 15:22 · 1 Cor 15:45-49 The Two Adams
29

Providence

God works all things — every atom, every electron, every choice, every storm — according to the counsel of His will. Not bare permission. Not distant oversight. Active, exhaustive, sovereign rule over everything.

Eph 1:11 · Heb 1:3 · Rom 8:28 The God Who Holds Everything
30

The Covenant of Redemption

Before the foundation of the world, Father, Son, and Spirit entered an eternal covenant to save a people. Your salvation was not God's response to your choice — it was the terms of an agreement ratified before time began.

2 Tim 1:9 · John 17:6-9 · Eph 1:4-5 · Zech 6:13 The Pactum Salutis
31

The Covenant of Works

In the garden, God struck a covenant with Adam: perfect obedience for life, disobedience for death. Adam broke it. You broke it in him. And the law still demands what you cannot give — unless a Second Adam keeps the covenant in your place.

Gen 2:16-17 · Rom 5:12-19 · Gal 3:10 · 2 Cor 5:21 The Garden Contract
32

Common Grace

God sends rain on the righteous and the wicked. He preserves the cosmos, restrains evil, gifts unbelievers with beauty and brilliance, orders society through government. The kindness you've breathed every day of your life — and what it is meant to lead you to.

Matt 5:44-45 · Rom 2:4 · James 1:17 · Heb 1:3 The Universal Kindness
